COFINAIR Group, a leading European player in cooling solutions, officially laid the foundation stone of its future industrial site, COFINAIR France, in Criquetot-sur-Longueville (Seine-Maritime) on April 29, 2026, in the presence of local teams and Group leadership.

This new facility will eventually host the activities of JACIR, the Group’s historic brand, which will become COFINAIR France as of January 1, 2027. The project marks a key milestone in the Group’s industrial strategy in France, with the consolidation of several existing sites into a single, modern production facility designed to optimize operations and enhance industrial performance.

Built on a 4-hectare site, the future plant will offer nearly 16,000 m² of floor space, including assembly halls, metalworking workshops, logistics areas, finished product zones, and dedicated facilities for testing and R&D. Designed to integrate heavy industrial equipment, the site will strengthen COFINAIR’s long-term competitiveness.

Beyond its industrial dimension, the project reflects a strong regional commitment by bringing together all Normandy-based teams and modernizing local production capabilities. Construction, led by IDEC FACTORY, began in November 2025, with completion scheduled for early 2027.

The site also incorporates a comprehensive environmental approach, including green spaces, tree planting, electric vehicle charging stations, and photovoltaic energy production, illustrating COFINAIR’s commitment to combining industrial performance with environmental responsibility.

Supported under the France Relance program, now part of France 2030, the project highlights COFINAIR’s contribution to reindustrialization, competitiveness, and energy transition.
