The CFG-EC evaporative Cooler and Condenser is an advanced evaporative heat exchanger designed to combine refrigerant condensation and water or glycol cooling within a single compact system. This innovative 2-in-1 configuration integrates two independent high-efficiency heat exchange coils: one dedicated to refrigerant condensation, where the refrigerant changes phase from gas to liquid, and one dedicated to cooling water or glycol solutions circulating within the process.
During operation, the coils are continuously wetted by a water distribution system, while EC (Electronically Commutated) centrifugal fans with backwards-curved blades generate an optimised airflow in a counterflow direction to the falling water. Heat removal occurs through the combined effect of air convection and water evaporation, allowing the unit to achieve high thermal efficiency, reduced energy consumption, and stable performance close to wet-bulb temperature conditions. The advanced EC fan technology allows precise speed modulation according to system requirements, improving part-load efficiency, reducing electrical consumption, and minimizing noise emissions compared with traditional fan systems. This makes the CFG-EC particularly suitable for applications where energy optimisation and acoustic comfort are key design requirements.
