The ONYX NEO adiabatic condenser combines the reliability of dry cooling with the enhanced performance of adiabatic technology, delivering high thermal efficiency while minimising both energy and water consumption. During normal operating conditions, the unit functions as a high-efficiency dry condenser, with ambient air drawn through vertical heat exchange coils by low-noise EC axial fans. When outdoor temperatures increase, the integrated adiabatic pre-cooling section automatically humidifies dedicated evaporative pads, lowering the temperature of the incoming air before it reaches the coils and significantly increasing the cooling capacity.
This intelligent operating principle allows the ONYX NEO adiabatic condenser to remain in dry mode for the majority of the year thanks to its high dry switching point, dramatically reducing annual water consumption compared to conventional evaporative systems. The heat exchanger is specifically designed for NH₃ (ammonia) and other industrial refrigeration applications, ensuring reliable performance even under demanding operating conditions.
Unlike traditional evaporative equipment, the ONYX NEO series features a Zero-Aerosol hygienic design. Water is confined to the adiabatic pads and never sprayed into the airflow, eliminating the risk of Legionella associated with water droplets and removing the need for chemical water treatment. Combined with maintenance-free EC fan technology, corrosion-resistant construction, and an intelligent water management system, the ONYX NEO adiabatic condenser provides a durable, sustainable, and cost-effective solution for industrial refrigeration, commercial HVAC systems, and data centres.
