The TMX open-circuit crossflow cooling tower is CTI certified and engineered to provide efficient evaporative cooling with reduced energy consumption and low acoustic impact. Thanks to its crossflow design, air passes through the heat exchange section at a lower velocity than in conventional counterflow cooling towers, significantly reducing air-side pressure losses while maintaining the same cooling capacity. This allows the use of smaller fan motors, resulting in lower electrical consumption and reduced operating costs.
Designed for maximum efficiency and ease of maintenance, the TMX crossflow cooling tower features a modular construction comprising three independent sections: the cold-water basin, the heat-exchange section, and the fan section. This configuration provides safe and comfortable access to internal components, simplifying inspection and routine maintenance while minimising downtime.
Low-noise axial fans, including optional silent versions, further reduce sound emissions, making the TMX crossflow cooling tower particularly suitable for noise-sensitive installations. The TMX is also designed to maximise cooling capacity without increasing the unit footprint. Thanks to its double-deck configuration, the heat exchange section can be developed vertically, allowing significantly higher thermal performance within the same installation area.
