The VAP cooling tower is an open-circuit evaporative cooling tower engineered to deliver efficient and reliable heat rejection for industrial process applications. Based on a counterflow design, warm process water is evenly distributed over high-efficiency fill packs, while axial fans generate an upward airflow through the fill material. This optimised air-water contact maximizes heat transfer efficiency, ensuring stable cooling performance with reduced energy consumption.
Designed for harsh operating environments, the VAP cooling tower features a corrosion-resistant FRP (fibreglass-reinforced polyester) structure, ensuring excellent durability for applications where traditional materials may be exposed to aggressive atmospheres or water conditions. All components in contact with the fluid are selected to maximise resistance against corrosion, extending equipment lifetime and reducing maintenance requirements.
The VAP combines robust construction with practical installation and maintenance advantages. Delivered as a complete assembled unit depending on the model, it allows fast plug & play installation with reduced commissioning time. The direct-drive connection between motor and fan eliminates transmission losses, improving mechanical reliability and efficiency, while large access openings provide easy and complete access for inspection and maintenance operations.
